Appetizer

I have decided it is time to focus my long winded tendencies toward a medium that my friends can turn off at their will. This will limit the therapeutic effects of the comforting, “uh-huh”, on the other end of the line and may be traumatic to my psyche but with a little luck, I will still be able to work out my problems the way that I do best. Which is by expounding aloud without regard for reason, thought, or feelings of others. Some people reflect internally, but me, I tend to reflect aloud and often with stinging disclosure of non-censored thoughts. So, now that the disclaimer is out of the way, read on if you don’t mind random babble that at best will mortify you before coming to an coherent conclusion or at worst meander without doing anything save offend those more timid than I and let me get what ever it is on my mind, off my chest.

For my part, I intend to focus on what I have learned (rather painfully at times), in my years living in China. Please do not assume that I am an expert or that what I have to say is in way defensible with actual fact, although, I will try to do so on occasion. What I will try to do is present things as I see them and try not just endlessly bitch. At least not without offering a counter argument for my rant or possibly a solution to the irritant that incites my ranting and bitching. Those who know me best will tell you I am a whiny bitch. I prefer to think that I am that only one willing to address the elephant in the room and that has won me the unfortunate handle of one that is best served with cheese.

Facts.

The definition of facts for my purpose is the portrayal of information the way that I see it. You can check your facts if you would like but unless you are checking with me, there is a good chance we will disagree.

Disagreement

The unfortunate state that is reached when you have not yet realized that the facts are the facts and the sooner you stop disagreeing with me the sooner the world will be a better place.

I’m just kidding. Conflict is a wonderful thing. If handled in a mature fashion, if brings us closer together by necessitating a deeper understanding in order to resolve or resolve not to resolve the conflict. If you insist on reading this blog, you will need to learn sarcasm and embrace it as the plus 300 lb me embraces comfort food.
